Prevention Specialist -
Position Number: 2084
Responsible for conducting prevention programs to
assist youth and at-risk youth in making wise choices about drugs and improve
Teaches parents communications skills to
strengthen family bonding.
High School diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Bachelor’s Degree in human services with coursework in behavior
Knowledge of substance abuse prevention strategies
Experience working with at-risk youth
Experience working with families
Experience facilitating groups
State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central
registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
$13.00 per hour
