PREVENTION SERVICES DIVISION

Responsible for conducting prevention
programs to assist youth and at-risk youth in making wise choices
about drugs and improve social competencies.
Teaches parents communications
skills to strengthen family bonding.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (Psychology, Counseling,
Education, Social Work and/or Criminal Justice Field)
Minimum of one year of related work experience
Flexible schedule with some nights and weekend work
Valid driver’s license, safe driving
record, and reliable transportation
Experience in teaching, guidance, substance abuse or mental health
counseling or prevention education
Experience working with at-risk youth
Certification as prevention professional
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal
record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will
be required upon request.
$31,048 to $48,899 Excellent Fringe Benefits
