Group Home Director
Position Number: 3004
Responsibilities: Ensure the Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) and/or Waiver operated group homes for individuals with an intellectual or other developmental disability are in compliance with all federal, state, local and Agency regulations, policies, and procedures assists in all aspects of facility operations; assists with budget development and coordination of the cost settlement process; gathers baseline data and coordinates screening, admission, and discharge of individuals; establishes teamwork with contract professionals including physicians and other medical professionals; coordinates development and implementation of individualized programs; ensures proper administration of medication by staff; participates in staff recruitment, training and supervision, and monitoring of work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage at all times. Plans own work with supervisory consultation and considerable latitude for decision making. Functions without direct oversight in accordance with standard operating procedures.
M1: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field
Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in Virginia
M2: Must have one year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other developmental
Must have valid driver’s license.
Human services experience preferred.
P2: Supervisory experience preferred.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required
$39,829 - $62,734 Excellent fringe benefits
