BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION
Provides face-to-face and telephone crisis
intervention, crisis stabilization, diagnostic evaluation, and
assessment of need for treatment, pre-admission screening for
private and state psychiatric hospitalizations; provides behavioral
health consultations; referrals to DPCS programs or other community
bases services; adheres to guidelines or regulations established by
Virginia Statute and the Department of Behavioral Health and
Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Human
Services that includes coursework for eventual licensure by the
Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed
Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social
Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed
Substance Abuse Practitioner in Virginia;
Outpatient or inpatient clinical
mental health and/or substance abuse treatment experience required.
Documented crisis intervention experience within the past five years
State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central
registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
NEW ANNUAL SALARY
$39,829 - $62,734.
(10% increase for licensure).
$5000 sign on bonus.
