BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION
As a member of a multidisciplinary team,
conducts psychiatric assessments; assesses physical health needs;
makes appropriate referrals to community physicians; provides
management and administration of medications in conjunction with the
psychiatrist; provides a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation,
and support services; shares shift-management responsibilities with
other staff; provides direct case management services to
individuals; conducts medication education, and performs necessary
documentation; assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box
Delivers medications to the homes
of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating
Participates in on-call rotation.
Licensed Practical Nurse with a
valid LPN license to practice in Virginia required.
Valid drivers license with safe
driving record required.
Experience working with seriously
mentally ill individuals preferred.
Experience with crisis intervention
State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central
registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:
$33,581 - 52,890.
Sign on bonus $1,500.
