BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION
Adult and Youth Clinician - Contract
Position Number: 4243
Provides individual therapy to
children, adolescents, adults, and families; provides clinical assessments,
evaluations, and intakes and develops the treatment plans; maintains regular
consultation with the courts, schools, social services and other community
agencies; provides emergency services and crisis intervention as needed.
Maintains individual record documentation.
Master’s degree in Human Services,
Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work required.
The degree should be acceptable by
the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a sufficient
Master’s degree to be license eligible as a LCSW, LPC, or LCP.
One year experience in
mental health and/or substance abuse services with children,
adolescents, or adults
Virginia Licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LCP
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal
record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will
be required upon request.
