Assists in the overall functioning of the program to provide various
services to individuals with mental illness and co-occurring
disorders; assists in the development and implementation of relevant
programming designed to meet the specific needs of individuals of
all age groups, including young adults with mental illness and
co-occurring disorders; assists with maintaining an orderly program
environment; facilitates self-help groups; facilitates community
reintegration activities; participates as an Intensive Community
Services Program team member; performs required program
documentation; and provides back-up for other team members.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology,
social work, sociology, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or
other VA DMAS
approved Human Services degree, or certified psychiatric
rehabilitation practitioner in VA.
At least one year clinical
experience within the past seven years providing mental health
Must meet Medicaid requirements for Qualified Mental Health Provider.
driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive a 15
State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central
registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
