BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION
Responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing
physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community
physicians; providing management and administration of medication in
conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a wide range of
treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; sharing
shift-management responsibilities with other staff; provides direct
case management services to individuals, conducts medication
education, and performs necessary documentation; assists individuals
with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medications to the
homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a
rotation basis; participates in on-call rotation.
Completion of educational required for
Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in VA required.
Valid drivers license and safe driving record
Experience working with seriously
mentally ill individuals
Experience with crisis
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central
registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
$43,560 - $68,608.
Sign on bonus $5,000. Excellent fringe benefits.
