PACT Clinician

Position #4240


Assesses, plans, develops, coordinates, and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader and psychiatrist.  Functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, or may be designated by the team leader to function as the lead mental health professional.  Assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills.  Delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis.  Participates in on-call rotation.     

Minimum Requirements
  Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia required.  Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request.
  At least one year experience within the past seven years providing servies to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness.
  Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record required.

M4Must be approved and registered with the appropriate board for licensure supervision as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP within six months of hire.

M5:   Must obtain professional licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP in Virginia within six months of completing supervision/residency.

M6 Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire.

Preferred Requirements
  Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP.
  Experience working the PACT Model.
  Experience with crisis intervention.

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.


$37,694 - $59,369.  $1500 Sign on Bonus

15% increase for licensure.

7% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
