Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR) is a treatment approach designed to help improve the lives of people with disabilities. The goal of psychosocial rehabilitation is to teach emotional, cognitive, and social skills that help those diagnosed with serious mental illnesses live and work in their communities as independently as possible.

All services below are accessed through the Rapid Access Services.


Harmony House

Provides day support services, and peer support, for seriously mentally ill adults.  Opportunities are available for participants to enhance social and daily living skills in a supportive environment.


Supportive Employment

Located at Harmony House, the Supportive Employment Program provides vocational training and work opportunities in a dedicated and structured program that includes paid work for participating individuals through various "contracts" and "for hire" opportunities on the "work crew."  The program also provides training, assistance with obtaining a job, and job coaching for those individuals desiring competitive employment in the community.


Mental Health Skill Building

Provides education to service recipients through individualized rehabilitation and support plans designed to assist them to develop, and build upon, existing skills that will enable them to live independently in the community.  Skill building areas include health and well-being, money management, cooking, shopping, medication compliance, symptom management, socialization and  accessing community resources.
